Santosha Psychology will send consent forms and questionnaires via email for you to complete before your first appointment. If they are not completed and submitted online, then you will need to complete these in person at your first session. If you do have a referral, it is important that you send this too or bring the referral along to your first session.

All sessions are completely confidential, however there are limits to confidentiality. These includes:

  • When there is a legal obligation to do so, for example, if information is requested by the Court of Law under a subpoena
  • If there is immediate and specified risk of harm to yourself or others that can be averted via disclosure of information
  • Psychologists have legal obligations to report children that may be at risk of harm

Psychologists are unable to disclose personal information to any other persons or organisations without prior written consent of the client.

Each session lasts for 50 minutes and every person’s needs are unique and individual. Your needs for therapy and number of sessions can be discussed and collaborated with.
